Maldita Castilla EX, the ode of Locomalito & Gryzor87 to the greatest arcade games from the 80s such as Ghost ‘n’ Goblins or Shinobi is heading to Steam and PS4. Meanwhile, to make the wait easier, we are releasing today a developer diary with the creators of the adventures of Don Ramiro and the cursed lands of Tolomera.
Maldita Castilla EX is a lineal action-arcade game which gathered unanimous recognition both from gamers and critics, not only for its addictive gameplay, but also for being a double tribute: on the one hand, to the classic arcades and on the other hand, to Medieval myths from Spain and the rest of Europe.
In the video above, the indie developers talk about how they came up with the idea for Maldita Castilla, which were their references for the game and which development process they follow to create their games. Also, they tell us how on Earth they got their nicknames. 😉
